Merlin Entertainments have today recommenced sales of new annual passes, following the suspension of new pass sales while they evaluated their pass offering and attraction capacity restrictions were in place throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
In December 2020, Merlin announced that the previous Standard and Premium Passes would not be returning to sale and would be replaced by two new offerings – Gold and Platinum Passes, while at the same time introducing the entry level Discovery Pass. Although these new passes have been available to purchase through an existing renewal, they were not able to be purchased by new customers.
Prices for the new passes start at £89 for the Discovery Pass, £219 for the Gold Pass, and £299 for the Platinum Pass.
A pay monthly membership option for the Gold and Platinum Passes is also available which is a welcome return for those who prefer to pay in instalments rather than a larger down payment.
