Fright Nights at Thorpe Park is back once again, and new for 2009 is Saw – The Ride Live.

The horror movie themed coaster has been brought to life, with roamers sporting pig masks tormenting waiting guests, and the trap in the queue line becoming occupied by a victim, in similar fashion to when the ride opened.

Hellgate, Se7en, The Asylum and The Curse return, providing consistent scares according to reviews so far. Theming around the park is sparse this year, and overall the event has not seen many other changes compared to last year.

Due to how popular Fright Nights has become, Thorpe Park are taking advanced bookings only to visit from October 24th to November 1st. This includes Annual Pass holders who have to pay a booking fee, which has generated mixed feedback from the loyal guests.

On a different note, new custom designed benches have appeared around the park to complement the themed areas.
