As the opening of Nemesis Inferno and the 2003 season approaches, here is a pre-season update. The new Extreme Games area is under construction, built on the former site of nice landscaped pirates eating area.
Some of the tallest supports on Colossus have been power washed to remove the oil stains caused by the leaky chain cog at the top of the lift hill. The metal plates added to the side of the trains near the end of last season will be removed in time for opening. As we thought, both trains will receive new restraints that pin down your legs further.
Logger’s Leap is undergoing a minor refurbishment, with a permanent wooden evacuation platform being built on the final stretch of trough before the station, with the idea to improve the guest experience in the event of a breakdown.
