To wrap up the end of the 2000 season at Thorpe Park, we can finally share some exciting news. Project Odyssey, the up-and-coming major capital project will be the world’s first ten looping coaster when it opens in Spring 2002.
Construction has recently started on the large piece of land located along the lake side of X:\ No Way Out. The 3D Cinema and neighbouring buildings are currently being demolished.
No further work has progressed on the former location of Wicked Witches Haunt, with the exception of a path created through the middle of the site to provide better accessibility between Ranger County and Central Park.
