Fright Nights returns to THORPE PARK Resort for 2016, with a host of live action horror attractions and the opportunity to experience the resort’s rides in the dark as the event celebrates 15 years of fear! Something is believed to lie at the end of the line in the brand new PLATFORM 15, and the most popular characters from the resort’s past mazes will freely roam the park.
The event runs on selected dates, with these being; 7th – 9th October, 14th – 16th October, and 21st – 31st October.
On every day of the event, the theme park is open from 10am until 10pm. Rocky Express and Rumba Rapids will close at 5pm, whilst I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Maze will be closed for the duration of the event.
All scare mazes will open at 3pm and remain open until park close, with the exception of Blair Witch which will open at 7pm until park close.
All scare mazes and scare zones are included with theme park admission, however the general admission price does increase during Frights Nights. You are best booking in advance to get the cheapest possible price.
Holders of a THORPE PARK Annual or Season Pass, or Standard Merlin Annual Pass are subject to a £5, £10 or £15 admission charge dependent on the date of your visit. Holders of a THORPE PARK Premium Annual Pass or Premium Merlin Annual Pass are subject to a £1 reservation fee, if they wish to prebook their Fright Nights ticket.
CONTAINMENT, an escape room experience, will incur an additional charge of £10 (or £8 for Annual Passholders).

The highlight of Fright Nights are the resort’s live action horror attractions which include scare mazes and zones, as well as an escape room experience. What’s more, as the sun begins to set, roaming characters from past mazes could be lurking around any corner ready to terrify guests.

Location: Old Canada Creek Railway line by Logger’s Leap | Opening Times: 3pm – 10pm

Depart on a one way ticket and trek along the overgrown railway line, the last known route of the vanished locomotive — the notorious Sleeper Express. Guests must tread carefully to avoid awakening the zombie ‘Sleepers’ lurking amongst the trees.
NEW - Blair Witch
Location: Old Canada Creek Railway line by Nemesis Inferno | Opening Times: 7pm – 10pm

The spirit of the Blair Witch has taken hold in a dark and forgotten area of the resort. Remember: Never spend the night. Never look in her eyes. Never turn away from the corner. There’s something evil hiding in the woods – dare you enter after night fall?
THE BIG TOP
Location: Opposite Crust food outlet | Opening Times: 3pm – 10pm

Those who dare trespass the abandoned Figaro Bros. Carnival will encounter its former entertainers who strive to make it the greatest scare on earth. Will you succumb to their torturous antics as they return for another year of crazed debauchery?
The Cabin in the Woods
Location: Behind X, next to Colossus | Opening Times: 3pm – 10pm
Scare Factor: 4/5
Guests will influence their outcome as they navigate their way through rooms of a seemingly innocent rustic cabin within which lies a hidden secret facility which unleashes nightmarishly hideous ‘beings’.

In each of these rooms awaits a disturbing scene from the hit film franchise, SAW, that will see guests come face to face with the sadistic Billy puppet and his nightmarish games. Will you live or die at the mercy of Jigsaw?

In groups of 10 you’ll be locked inside four rooms inspired by many of the UK’s worst nightmares, where, under timed conditions, you’ll need to break codes to find the antidote to a spreading infection.

As Thorpe Park celebrates 15 years of fear, frightful fiends from past mazes will return and roam the park for one last scare. Who returns will be decided by a vote on Thorpe Park’s Facebook page…
