It was revealed that Chessington World of Adventures Resort intended to redevelop the existing Beanloand area of the theme park when a planning application was submitted in July 2009. Although all of the area’s existing rides would be retained, the ‘dodgems’ and ‘crazy bus’ would be relocated within the area to make space for the addition of KOBRA, a Zamperla Disk’O Coaster. Another new addition to the area would be Lorikeet Lagoon, a walkthrough bird experience.
