March 2016 saw the submission of plans by LEGOLAND for a new Ninjago themed indoor attraction and redevelopment of one of the theme park’s areas. The main attraction would be an interactive, media-based ride where guests needed to hit targets using their hands to control where they aimed their fire. This followed such an attraction having just opened at LEGOLAND Billund Resort. The development would replace Loki’s Labyrinth, and would also incorporate new interactive features such as a climbing wall, brick build area, and ‘spinners’.  The existing Longboat Invader ride would also be re-located to the north-east of the new area and re-themed.
