Saw – The Ride, the latest addition for thrill seekers at Thorpe Park, has been experiencing continuous teething problems since its official opening day on 14th March.

The problems seem to centre around the mid-course block brake, trimming of ride vehicles, and the control system. Modifications have been made to the ride by Gerstlauer in an attempt to rectify the issues, but currently the attraction is running at reduced capacity, which is creating excessive wait times.

In other news, the infilling of the lake by Colossus seems to be drawing to a close, so expect to see a new path leading to Saw – The Ride next year.

Detonator has received a new floor coating to the loading area. The Thorpe Belle has recently moved away from its previous docking place by Vortex, and is believed to be receiving repairs which are being carried out from the car park for ease.

Our speculation of future development in Lost City turned out to be false, as the work reported in our last update only consisted of repairs to sections of the patio – never mind!
