An ancient and mythical Asian kingdom is about to open at Chessington World of Adventures, and we were lucky enough to be invited to the media preview.

Wild Asia has replaced the ageing Beano Land area, and we are delighted that the park seems to be following the original concept of themed countries, along with a new animal attraction in the area which spreads the wildlife exhibits around the park more evenly.

Explorers will be able to navigate their way through fallen temples to discover a crumbling lost land, home to a number of new and rethemed attractions. Featured will be a Zamperla Disk ‘O’ Coaster called Kobra, the Temple of Mayhem, Jungle Bus, Monkey Swinger, Tuk Tuk Turmoil dodgems and Lorikeet Lagoon walk-through aviary.

Asian food will be offered inside a new restaurant and guests will be able to stock up on gifts from Maharaja’s Market.

David Smith, chief explorer from Chessington World of Adventures notes:

“The launch of Wild Asia perfectly complements the other worlds within the park. This new land is just the beginning of Britain’s Wildest Adventure.”

Wild Asia at Chessington opens tomorrow, March 27th.
