Chessington have announced that their new area for 2010 will be called Wild Asia.
With theming that resembles the cultures of Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Mongolia, Nepal, and Thailand, guests will traverse temples and ruins on their quest to ride Kobra, the area’s flagship new attraction. The dodgems and crazy bus are being moved to different locations within the new land, and the Temple of Mayhem will entertain younger guests at the rear of the area. Lorikeet Lagoon, a new tropical bird exhibit, will invite guests to hand-feed its residents and discover more about them.
In terms of construction progress, there’s currently not much left of Beanoland as all the garish theming and structures have been demolished, in preparation for the new construction to commence.
