Chessington World of Adventures opened for the 2008 season this weekend.
Continuing their focus on family attractions as well as the zoo, this year Chessington have installed their own Sea Life Centre. The attraction features countless displays of marine life, educational and interactive exhibits, as well as a spectacular underwater tunnel walk-through.
Due to the Sea Life’s new location within the park, the Children’s Zoo has been relocated to an area previously used by the extended queue line for Runaway Train. The new attraction is not quite finished, but should be another well received park addition once completed.
The Transylvania McDonald’s has changed into a Burger King, and keeps the same impressive interior. There is also a new, and rather nicely themed games unit in Mexicana. Also in the area, guests can now purchase an on-ride photo of their Runaway Train ride for the first time.
