Costing £99.99, the pass offers free parking and free entry to special events at the resort, including Fright Nights and Braniac Live! during Feburary half term. This in in addition to the benefits currently enjoyed by pass holders which include 20% discount on food and merchandise, and invite to passholder events such as previews for Fright Nights.
The new pass means Thorpe Park resort now offers two tiers for its resort only pass – Standard costing £69.99 and the new Premium pass at £99.99. This is the first time a Merlin attraction has offered differing tiers for a stand-alone attraction pass.
The resort also yesterday confirmed their opening hours for the 2015 main season on their website. After opening from 10am-4pm between 14th – 22nd February for the half term Brainiac Live! event, the main season will begin on Thursday 12th March with the park open from 10am to 5pm.
Weekends throughout the year will see the park open until 10am-6pm with the same hours being operated through the Easter school break and the whole of July. From 31st July until 1st September the park will be open from 10am – 7pm with a small number of other days offering these hours at other points in the year. Fright Nights will once again see the park open from 10am-10pm with date currently showing the annual Halloween blockbuster event will be held on 9th/10th/11th. 16th/17th/18th October and 23rd October – 1st November. The season will come to an end on Sunday 8th November from 10am-4pm.
