Would you believe that Fright Nights at Thorpe Park is now in its seventh year? The terrifying event is back for 2008 with both familiar and new frights.

Returning mazes this season are Asylum, Hellgate and Se7en. Making an introduction is The Curse, telling the chilling story of a haunted ship that has washed up on Amity Beach. With some impressive visuals and an original storyline, we enjoyed our experience through the maze.

General Halloween theming is a bit sparse this year, however Colossus and Nemesis Inferno were decorated well. The music for the event never fails to impress, and the lighting continues to be improved.

Operationally, Thorpe Park has made an improvement on last year, with minimal downtime on the rides which were all running at maximum capacity.
