Thorpe Park have recently updated their website with next season’s opening hours, and to our surprise it looks like 2006 will see the last ever full closed season.
According to the calendar, the park opens in February 2007 and continues through to January 2008. We know how much planning goes in to year round operation, especially when it comes to maintenance and infrastructure. This is great news, but don’t make any Christmas trip plans just yet…
Do you remember Chessington’s Christmas Cracker? This event was advertised to the public, but was cancelled due to questionable circumstances. Thorpe Park management told us that they have been instructed to contract staff only between February and November at this stage.
Hopefully Tussauds will keep to their word this time as it could be very nice spending Christmas Eve riding our favourite attractions. The full calendar is available on the official site.
