Land clearing has started at Thorpe Park for the installation of the Sky Swat ride, which has revealed the remains of Trappers Trail, a children’s playground attraction originally removed during Colossus construction. Heavy advertising for both the new S&S rides can be found all over the park. Hopefully this will give the attraction a nice attendance boost next season.
There has been no major news regarding Project Stealth; the 2006 Intamin rocket coaster. According to a rumour, the ride may be a smaller version of Kingda Ka, around half the height. It would be nice for the layout to be more substantial than just the top hat element, but we know that Tussauds prefer a coaster on the shorter side compared to similar rides abroad.
