With SW7 lingering around the corner, SW8 will hopefully follow in 2016 with yet another world beating concept but what would you like to see as a world first element? Post you world beating concepts here!

A sideways roller-coaster.
It doesn't move forwards or backwards it moves sideways 8)

A top spin connected to a top spin so it would be a pair of rotating arms connected to another pair of rotating arms connected to the swinging car 8)
Not very exciting and a waste of money but a rotating roller coaster... the whole roller coaster is on a rotating platform but still, never been done

I have thought of this before, I don't know why it hasn't been done! It may have to be on a small scale though because a fast forceful sideways coaster could be extremely painful and uncomfortable but imagine banking 90 degrees you would either be laying down or facing the floorhomer22422 wrote: A sideways roller-coaster.

A face down flying coaster that goes 0-80 mph in 1 second only to go up 200ft verticality and then have a 120 degree drop. That is what will be the worlds first. Oh and it goes through a black hole.
In just 1 day I managed: 75 rides on stealth, 8 swarms, the dodgems and a tea cups. February half term was good.

I actually designed one of these when I was in college for my engineering project. I had to do a whole design and presentation for it. Definitely a plausible worlds first IMOhomer22422 wrote: A sideways roller-coaster.

Having been on this death trap on the outside with two people smashing into me on every drop, i can safely say i would never go on a sideways rollercoaster.

Does SW7 even have a worlds first. Because all the banners say world beating not worlds first. Unless they said something else i didn't see

World's first Wooden ________ has a lot of potential.
Vertical Drop/Inverter. I mean, official plans have been drawn to show that a Wooden Shuttle can be bought-to-order.
Tilt-Backwards coaster would be thrilling if it was a 'dark-ride-coaster'. Would require a lot more supports however.
Vertical Wingrider track sections have potential.

what about a vertical launch?
the train would have a slow vertical chain lift or similar that would stop facing the sky a few metres up.
then it would launch upwards. am i being stupid or is this a good idea?
