Skyride at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is a cable car system manufactured by Swiss company Von Roll. The attraction opened in 1974 featuring three stations in a triangular footprint, however the middle station is no longer used for loading and unloading; guests now just pass through it.

Control Room

Check out inside of Skyride’s control room, featuring the console system which runs the attraction. There is also an additional system which measures that the wind speed is within the safe operating parameters. This room is located at the Cheetah Hunt station along with the maintenance shed.

Maintenance Shed

Here is the maintenance shed and gondola storage space for Skyride. All of the maintenance of gondolas takes place here, with the space also used for the storage of tools and parts. The gondola used for the maintenance of the cable system is also stored here.
