Flight of the Pterosaur is a Vekoma family suspended coaster which opened as one of the two main rides in the Lost Kingdom at Paultons Park in 2016. The roller coaster features a height of 65ft, features a top speed of 34mph and a track length of 1296ft. This ride model is a cloned seven times around the world however what makes Paultons stand out is the addition of theming and rockwork around the attraction.
Operator Console
Check out the operator console for Flight of the Pterosaur. This attraction features a more basic ride console than other attractions due to the ride featuring one train. The ride also features a tablet to monitor throughputs, downtime and queue times and a screen for CCTV.
Station and Final Helix
Here are some views of the ride station along with a venture into the ride area of the final helix of the attraction. Due to the small footprint of the Flight of the Pterosaur, the station doubles as the brake run.
