Thanks Craig.

Anyway I think every B&M built in 2011 is sexy! I think Starry Night Ripper is just awesome and Hair Raiser's colour scheme is beautiful.

:D

Air is pretty awesome looking, really soft and graceful.

While Nemesis looks awesome for the opposite reason. So dramatic and imposing. Oblivion looks awesome for the same reason.

I've not been able to find a picture, but when you stand up near Nemesis and look down towards Air, it looks absolutely stunning.

Why is the track so thick on the drop on Silver Star? Is it like that on all B&M Hyper coasters? Also a cracking view is when your on Ripsaw and it goes up to the top you some times hit a little air time here but as you rise you see Nemesis appear to rise out of the pit!

Nothing is more stunning!

I think its partly due to the height, the track itself partially acts as a support for the structure of the lift and for itself. I would have thought it would be more of a stabilizing support than a load bearing one though. I suppose its built like that aswell to cope with the heavy train thundering past near the bottom putting addidional forces on the track, due too its relative high speed.

Is it wrong that I can imagine SW7 looking exactly like that? I wouldn't put it past Alton Towers tbh. :P

For me Silver Star, Air and Nemesis are the best looking B&Ms.

Thanks Dan, I thought it would be something along those lines. I suppose most other Hyper coasters (non B&M) use a lattice support structure which will hold them up. I just couldn't recall seeing it on any other B&M Hyper coasters.

:)
Blaze

Yeah, most, if not all hypers do it. Makes it stronger.

Makes it look a bit more imposing as well, compared to standard square sections.

:)

Silver Star

Sorry, thought all this talk about silver star would make it clear that silvia = silver star, but obviously not. In fairness though, we do have rita, so silvia isnt that far fetched lol

Crystal Wing at Chinese theme park Happy Valley is, as far as I'm aware, THE best looking B&M in the world. Hell, scratch that, it'd be hard to find a better looking coaster -

NOM! :D
Blaze

It's not really the ride though, is it?

Take all that away and you're left with a pink and brown mess. :P

Fair enough, I think that point's valid with Nemesis though, take away the ravine and you have an extremley odd looking ride...
Blaze

True, it would look odd if it was built flat, but all it's landscaping is 'natural', whereas Crystal Wings is man made, so the coaster is just a standard Superman close, so if you take the theming away, that's what you get. Take Nemesis' theming away and the landscaping is still there, so it's not quite the same.

Manta, Sea World Orlando has to be in the running for me. It looks great and also delivers on ride experience as well.
