Im up for such a trip, I wasn't sure at all about dates from within the other topic so i havent posted anything yet. I am nearly sure ill be able to make a trip down south for the day.

Try www.nationalrail.co.uk for trains.

There is a train service from London Paddington to Heathrow, there is also London Underground Piccadilly Line.

However the trains to Chessington go from London Waterloo (also pick up at Clapham Junction).

May be quicker to get a bus from Heathrow to somewhere along the Waterloo line - try www.transportdirect.info.

The national rail site wont work, I know it does cause i've used it before but alas today its not for me.

I know theres the HEX but its £26 return, theres coaches to staines for the thorpe end of the trip and theres likely to be a coach to woking from staines for the hotel. so the only bit is getting to chessington south. I'm sure theres gotta be a train from woking to there on some weird and wonderful routing.

Does anyone have any estimate for the price of a single night in the nominated hotel?

And the hotel, its location appears to be near a train station, it says Sub Woking... is this the train station where the Heathrow Railair bus arrives? If it isnt does anyone have directions from that station to the hotel?

the station is 1 minute walk from woking station, price est is 35-40 quid a room 17.50-20 quid each based on 2 sharing.

no singles supp. plenty of places to get brekkie. also, i thought maybe we could all go for a chinese - theres a great buffet place 1 minute walk from the hotel unlimited chinese for like a tenner! Perhaps we could go bowling, i could sort out a discount, its just under the hotel, about a 1 minute walk again ?

If someone could give me a lift from Woking that be class as i can get there by train or i could stay overnight at a friend who lives in Woking. Could only get to TP
