Wow alot of things have dissapeered in those pictures, look how derelict and empty its amazing how a old derelict house can turn into a world class theme park.

Staffs Past Track actually came to my high school and used my class as a test to see how the site was before it was opened. I think it's great for any locals; it even has some old pictures of my tiny village on!

Regards,
Mark

Started off in what way? As a site? As a stately home or as an amusement park?

i too have pics but only from 1991-1995. they are all of the old ice shows which i used to skate in with the one and only henry hound. i actually used to dress in the costume character of henry hound when we did the parade at 3 o clock every day around the park.

Gathered that, seeing I took it on 1st August 1987 with my treasured Kodak Star 110 camera!

Aww!

Such a sweet photo Stevie! Proud Daddy with his little Altonettes!

You look like you're about 5 in the photo, which would have meant it was taken between 1988 and 1990, over at the edge of ye olde coaster corner.

Thanks for taking the time to upload the photos, they're always much appreciated...

:D
