Legoland Sichuan

Merlin have announced that they will be opening a new LEGOLAND Resort in Sichuan province in Western China.
Merlin have entered into a partnership with entered into a partnership agreement with Global Zhongjun Cultural Tourism Development Co., Ltd (“Global Zhongjun”) to build and operate a LEGOLAND Resort in Sichuan Province in Western China. Under the terms, Global Zhongjun will fund the construction of the park, as well as the require infrastructure and adjacent commercial developments. Merlin will be a partner in the development and will operate the Resort under a management contract arrangement.
The Resort will be located Tianfu New Area in the city of Meishan, approximately 60km south of Chengdu city centre. It will open with two LEGOLAND Hotels which combined will have a capacity of 500 rooms.
