RIDE INCIDENT

Well.. it comes just a few weeks after the ride in Uzbekistan accident occured.

Now a similar attraction has had the same accident, with 2 dead and 29 people reportedly taken to hospital.

Footage is shocking, and may be disturbing for some viewers.

According to authorities, the park may not even has a license to operate this attraction. Time will tell. And again.. lack of maintenance looks to be the problem here. Unnecessary, and completely avoidable. Shame for the 2 victims who lost their lives.

"Completely avoidable" is a strong word to use considering we don't know anything of what's happened, obviously mechanical failure looking at the video, however, till a official report is released stating the cause of failure it's all just guess work.

Check out the park, it looks a lot better than Uzbekistan park that had a similar incident, but you can see it clearly lacks the maintenance a ride like this requires.

After looking at a number of different news articles about the incident. (May or may not be the most reliable source). It looks to be a maintenance issue and a licensing issue.

Surely a ride that isn't licenced won't receive the correct parts it needs to be maintained?

For this instance, it doesn't seem as though the arm itself broke, more like the components used to piece the 2 together gave way. Cheap materials used maybe. But like you say, won't know what's the cause until the investigation is done.. if it gets released.

All those people climbing over the ride, pulling on people, ripping off restraints, I dread to think how many injuries they made worse...

Hard to imagine this not being a maintenance issue, that sort of catastrophic failure should not be possible in normal conditions in a regularly inspected ride. This is like the wings falling off a plane upon takeoff, it should be unthinkable.
