Hello.
On Sunday July 13th 1969 a "pop" concert was held on the open air stage starring The Marmalade and Ambrose Slade.

It was an afternoon concert hosted by ATV Today's Lionel Hampden.

Does anyone know where the open air stage was at that time ?

I have several adverts for the gig but any other information would be appreciated.

If I recall correctly, before concerts were moved to the lawns inside the theme park, they used to be held in the car park, or at least the area that is now the car park. But I can’t say that as fact, I just remember reading something along those lines somewhere. Sorry, I’m not completely sure :-k
