Legoland in October

Hi all, I wanted people opinions and advice please.we decided to take kids to Legoland going go for 2 days. Dates we were looking at were either Oct 31st/Nov 1st or May 29th/30th or Aug 28th/29th. At first was going to go for Oct/Nov dates as it's our October half term in Wales and most other schools are off week before so would hopefully avoid crowds, but should I go in May half term or end August so splash areas are open for kids to use and hopefully to get better weather but more crowds. What are people's thoughts please?
