Chance Rides revealed this interesting new coaster design last month, the "Unicoaster 2.0". Unlike the original Unicoaster flat ride, Unicoaster 2.0 combines a powered coaster with this flat ride.

The attraction, much like the flat ride, allows for riders to control the spin along a a track, with controlled forward movement like a powered coaster. The attraction was designed by US Thrill Rides, with Chance manufacturing it as one of their products!

Chance Rides claim the Unicoaster 2.0's benefits include...
Chance Rides wrote:The Unicoaster 2.0 takes our rider controlled, 360 degree rotating seats and places them onto a customized roller coaster track.  Now you can have the thrills of a looping coaster at a fraction of the cost AND an interactive family coaster in the same space!

- Highly engaging, fun and repeatable experience
- Interactive guest-controlled forward and backward roll
- Undulating track provides true coaster experience in a small space
- Banked track in curves (inward and outward banking)
- Visually attractive and engaging
- Broad audience (48″ minimum height)
- Customised track layouts for your location
Here's a video showing off the new design. It looks like it has a lot of potential to be a fun new addition to a park line up!

This is pretty neat as I love user interactivity ride manufacturers are starting to incorporate. I for one love rides like Sky Force because for each individual rider it can be as tame or as chaotic as you like, this is similar so can cater to all audiences providing they meet physical / health requirements.
