New event packages are currently being offered by Alton Towers in which you can spend New Years Eve and New Years Day at the resort to experience not only the water park, but select rides and attractions, including CBeebies Land!

Ma Garitta's Caribbean Countdown: Splash Landings Hotel - £300

This package includes
- Two days access to the waterpark
- Two days access to select rides at the park
- A cocktail on arrival
- A three course meal in Flambo's Restaurant
- A choice of live entertainment
- A New Years stay in a Beachcomer Room
- Breakfast


Sir Algenon's New Year Extravaganza: Alton Towers Hotel - £300

This package includes
- Two days access to the waterpark
- Two days access to select rides at the park
- A glass of Prosecco on arrival
- A three course meal in the Secret Garden Restaurant
- A choice of live entertainment
- A New Years stay in an Explorer Room
- Breakfast


New Year's Eve Gala Celebration: Alton Towers Hotel - £350

This package includes
- Two days access to the waterpark
- Two days access to select rides at the park
- A pre-dinner drink served in Sir Algenon's Lounge
- A five course set meal in the Stateroom
- Entertainment, including a live band and DJ
- A New Years stay in an Explorer Room
- Breakfast
(Enchanted Village Treehouses are also available pricing between £2100 and £2200)

I'm afraid this isn't a new event, the Resort offered exactly the same packages last year and have also offered some form of event for New Year over the past few years.I suspect the take up this year is slightly lower so that may be why we're seeing a marketing push now.

Typically the rides and attractions on offer consist of CBeebies Land and Mutiny Bay, including Sharkbait Reef as is usual for any offering at this time of year.

They said on twitter that some rides in CCL as well as Spinball Whizzer will be avaliable.
