So is this the second ride to use the mack mega coaster trains?

And why is it so squeaky?

It's squeaky, but if they built one over here... I think I could just about live with that! :P

Blue Fire had this Sound in the beginning, too. It has to do with the new rubber wheels AFAIK...it won`t stay that way !

Slightly confused. This ride will run with rubber wheels, but Blue Fire doesn't? If so, why did BF make this noise in the beginning?

I believe the noise goes away once the wheels have bedded in. New shoes can be squeaky but after a while this generally goes.

I remember bluefire being very quiet, even 3 days before the opening! I'm not sure it had that sound at the beginning!
But I totally agree when you say that it's because of the wheels.

"Only 10 days until Manta’s Grand Opening! Check out the testing of the one-on-a-link projection system inside Manta’s multi-media launch station. Imagine this massive 270-degree enveloping screen filled with projections of larger than life manta rays swimming all around you!!! Woohoo!"

^That's OK....

But I'd rather have the spinning tunnel in Duel.

It messes with your head.

It's so lovely to finally see more of these fabulous family/thrill rides opening. The best trains in the world. And great build quality. Can't believe it has taken over three years since Blue Fire.

Looks a bit rubbish...
AstroDan

To be honest the station for Manta in Orlando isn't much either.

Certainly not as nice as Bloofi's!

POV, Is it weird that I think it looks cute?
I used to think I knew a lot about coasters, but then I joined this forum.

First half looks ok, bit lacking in intensity, even for a family ride, and the twisty bit near the end looks like a naff version of Thirteen's before they replaced the trims with variable ones.

Second half looks fantastic.

Should be a really great ride, perfect for its audience.

I'd love to see something like this at Chessington. It looks like good fun. A perfect starter launch coaster. Make the first half slightly shorter so it doesn't loose too much force and momentum, give it a bit more height and that would be a great little coaster. Some more theming in the station would have been nice, but at least those cars look good.

:)
AstroDan

Looks lovely. Presumably what Sea World were looking for - a family/thrill coaster.

There are one or two nice quick transitions on it, too.

And of course it's cute - it's a Mack coaster!!

Seems SeaWorld San Diego are teasing a new 2017 attraction on their official @clydeseaworldsd twitter account. It could be one of the two dark rides shown back in November, or they could follow what the other two SeaWorld parks did in 2015 and upgrade their sea lion attractions and install a new show.

This is the second park owned by SeaWorld Entertainment following Busch Gardens Williamsburg that is teasing a 2017 attraction so early in 2016. Interesting to say the least.
SeaWorld has rescued over 35,000 animals in need![/i]
