I believe it's actually a product from Dutch manufacturer ETF Ride Systems.MakoMania wrote:Forgive me, I've not been following this project at all but is it an Oceaneering dark ride like Antarctica at SeaWorld Orlando?

Episode 4 of The Making of Symbolica focuses on the ride vehicles (or Fantasy Carriages as they've been called), confirming that the ride hardware is being produced by ETF Ride Systems and that it is the Multi Mover model. The video states that there will be 34 Fantasy Carriages in total, with two adapted for disabled guests.

Efteling have shared this photo of the "King's Chamber of the Palace" on social media today, which looks to be one of Symbolica's larger scenes.
Here are also a few recent construction photos from Vifzintuigen Forum, with the exterior now very much looking like it's nearing completion.

There's some sort of press event for Symbolica today, and Episode 5 of The Making of Symbolica has been released to coincide with it, confirming an opening day of 1st July. The video focuses on the work going on inside the attraction, and Efteling have also posted plenty of photos on Twitter this morning showing progress on the interior, a selection of which are below.

Efteling have posted a video on Facebook of the observatory scene (not sure if this is one of the preshows or an area of the actual ride), which features a fairly nice animatronic.

The observation tower looks over Symbolica, so they themed up the roof so it doesn't look an eyesore for the people above on the observation tower

With Symbolica opening tomorrow, Efteling have released on-ride POVs of the three tours through the palace:
Each tour is distinguished by the mid-portion of the ride, which involves an interactive element for guests. It certainly does look like a magical attraction, with an unquestionable Efteling vibe!
