jpecool, I agree, it will be an amazing coaster to ride but is that what its going to be now, every few years a park builds a launch coaster with a top hat a few meters taller than the last record holder. Why cant they have something different like having a few overbanked turns after the top hat as there would be plenty of speed. :D

Im hoping to see something more like Storm Runner at hersheypark being built at other big parks. Maybe another six flags park, a cedar fair park! I cant help but think Europa park would be the park to do this. After all they were the ones who while people were going crazy over the Intamin hyper coaster, went for the B&M hyper coaster. They also have some of the most original and best themed rides in the world. It just seems to me, alot of really big parks are gonna try and get one, after all look at the parks so far, Liseberg, Alton Towers, Cedar point, Six flags great Adeventure, Knotts Berry farm!!!!! These are huge huge parks that are getting these rocket coasters. Europa park is a huge park, one of the biggest in Europe, and Warner bros movie world Madrid is also one of these. I am hoping one of these choose to take the rocket coaster to a more original level. But i dont think that will happen, after all that

^^Actually while im hoping for things, im gonna hope that B&M decide to work on another launch coasterm liek the Incredible Hulk, except a bit larger. Now that would be fun. :D

I presume it's a new safety feature on all of Intamin's new Accelerator coasters.. It's like Rita having OTSR.

wouldnt it be good if when kingda ka got to the end of the track it stoped and did it all backwards that would be scary! :!:

A few weeks in, and the launch has buggered up, due to extreme heat on the launch cable. So that will be down for a few days i should think.

just recently got back from new jersey and i can say i had the absolute pleasure of riding kingda ka

the best ride ever better than oblivion, rita, and most probably project stealth
Anonymous

Seeing as it is just Project Stealth + a few hundred feet, and 40 miles, then yeah Kingda Ka is probably better than then .

Ok I see no point in what you just said, you say its much better than all those rides that are all nothing like eacherother (excluding stealth) Oblivion is unique for its drop (worlds 1st) and Rita is unique for its original and great design.

Kingda ka maybe a good ride and well done for riding it but you cant make statments like that concidering that the other rides have nothing to do with that!

Any way, wrong topic *whistles for kaycee or any other bored mod*
