Sorry got to double post because more photos of Festino's Forgotten Funhouse have been found, showcasing the uneven flooring and the sheer size of the maze it's self!

Some theming

Uneven flooring

We can assume as the maze hasn't reached even the middle of the big top, that it's just under half way constructed, it's huge!!!

I shall be attending in just under a couple of weeks, really can't wait to see what Dreamland have put together for this event - it certainly has surpassed all of my expectations so far :)

A couple more teasers have been posted:

Dead and Breakfast

Festino's Forgotten Funhouse

Dead and Breakfast is proving to be the most anticipated maze for me personally, the sets look to be very detailed and still I am not quite sure what to expect from the experience :P

I thought they had a genuine disused cinema.

Yes, this is part of the back story for the attraction :)

Reviews from the preview night are saying this event is absolutely spectacular and genuinely terrifying!

Here's a short one from CoasterForce -
CoasterForce Facebook Page wrote: Great evening at Dreamland! The horror mazes were so terrifying! Our favourite was 'Dead and Breakfast' so many scares! And we love when they've done to the mirror maze...but that's all we're saying, thanks for you hospitality!
Here are some photo from the event from CoasterForce -

Airgates have offered a review of the event, expressing how the mazes are in some detail. There are also a lot of pictures.

The Review

It expressed how The Final Cut and Dead & Breakfast are actually coined as one large maze (when starting with The Final Cut) it also seems that Dead & Breakfast, The Final Cut and Festino's Forgotten Funhouse are all more experiences with show sections as opinions to standard mazes :)

Here are two very good reviews of the attractions from CoasterForce. They are found here.

The general feeling for each maze -

Abracadbre - Very tense, including one of the best scares this year. 2/5 Scare Rating.

Festinos Firgotten Funhouse - Very creepy, slightly jumpy. 3/5 Scare Rating.

The Final Cut - Very clever and immersive, very jumpy. 4/5 Scare Rating.

Dead and Breakfast - One of the best themed attractions ever, 'terrifying'. 5/5 Scare Rating.

Screamland certainly sounds good!

Although this is EXACTLY the same as The Sanctuary, I feel this maze will achieve a unique feel of its own based on the teaser image - however we will have to wait and see!

ScareCON have announced Dreamland will be the host of ScareCON on Friday the 13th of May 2016!
ScareCON wrote:We are extremely pleased to announce that ScareCON 2016 will be held at Dreamland Margate on Friday the 13th of May. The event will include our biggest trade/exhibition floor ever, a dedicated workshop and seminar programme, access to the park, live versions of two of Screamland's mazes (Dead and Breakfast and The Final Cut), the SCAR awards ceremony, evening meal, live entertainment and aftershow party. Tickets will go on sale soon....

I think it's safe to say Screamland Matgate has truely wiper the floor with any other scare offering in 2015, lets see if they remain on top in 2016!

There are also reports of a new haunted dining experience coming to Screamland in 2016.

Once again it seems Screamland is out for blood! Larger parks should definitely be worried with Screamland being voted as best new scare attraction 2015, it can only improve!

What do you think of the current Screamland line up for 2016? Discuss!

Why make stupid taglines? It completely ruins the name of the mazes. The old names were good so why change it for the sake of it?

I attended ScareCON on Saturday and what a fantastic day it was!
Abramacabre is being replaced by The Bloody Mirror, which is set in the same mirror maze :)
The dining experience is called the Frightanic, set on a cruise ship. The concept art looks impressive and it sounds like the experience will be fantastic.
The Paradise Foundation certainly sounds like an interesting one, and not exactly like The Sanctuary as previously thought. Although difficult to put in to words, it's based around emotions and 'bliss' in particular. If you have a poor person, who is generally a happy or positive person, the can sell a body part, such as a hand, and the rich would purchase the body part with the hopes they would inherit the emotion. It seems like it'll be very dark and particularly gory going by the talks at ScareCON.

I got the chance to experience The Final Cut and Dead and Breakfast, both fantastic mazes and incredibly well themed! Filled with unique effects and gimmicks that I haven't seen before which was great. Then we had a behind the scenes tour and all was revealed, and it really made you appreciate them and the design even more. And to top it off we were given free Screamland hoodies upon exiting!
I will absolutely be visiting again this Halloween, from what they announced it sounds like the event is going from strength to strength, with full maze and experience line up to be announced on 6/6/16. Keep your eyes peeled! :)

They are not tag lines and were not changed for the sake of it. They are the new names of the mazes as they are receiving a story overhaul.

BBC News are reporting that Dreamland has called in administrators after less than 12 months of operation.

The park re-opened in June last year, however in January there were the first hints that things may be a little uncertain as the operator, Sands Heritage, was given five years to pay £3m debts.

At the moment the park will operate as normal whilst the business is assessed and a plan is made to take things forward. It would be a real shame if this ends up with the park having to close again, allot of work have been put into reviving it and putting on numerous special events to establish it as a go to destination for a wide range of people. It will be interesting to see where it goes fro here.
