They've removed the junior dragon coaster, and I believe Caterpillar Capers is most likely being pulled down to be taken over to Warrington.

A lot of the smaller kids rides have been sold to a traveling showman.

I've seen the pirate ship and a few other rides advertised for sale.

Shame. That place had a lot of potential considering its positioning. I've always thought something big and flashy would come to Camelot. Looks like I was wrong.

This makes me so sad, hate to think of the rides being taken down and the seating round the jousting stands where we always ate our lunch and got attacked by wasps while watching the show :(

Sad news to see Knightmare being sold online. I guess this means Oakwood will not be getting it next year

On a side note I never knew she was such an old coaster, 26 years old!

Knowing Camelot's financial status, I'm surprised they didn't flog it on ebay.

It was orginally a Schwarzkopf but was refurbed/modified by Zierer when Schwarzkopf went bust.

Do you think they will hold an auction to sell off smaller items as American Adventure did before?

I've been lucky enough to enjoy camelot, having lived all 18 years on its doorstep. However, I can confirm that the land is reserved for lesuire use only. No appeal has even been put in for planning permission as of yet, but they have hired a land evaluator to produce a report on wether it is suitable for houses, as there is a huge drainage problem close by. So hopefully, we'll end up with some sort of lesuire site as it always has been. It was an arena before it was a themepark :) oh, and I've got some lovely photos of old rodes that now stand at new pleasureland! Glad to see it growing :D
