I'm glad that some of the rides have moved to Pleasureland!
Get Knightmare there too! (Wishful Thinking)

Driving back from Scotland this morning, I couldn't help but notice that knightmare is still at the now closed camelot when I drove past. I know that several of the attractions have been re located to other parks including oakwood, pleasureland southport, gulliver's world and skyline park but knightmare is still standing there on its own. I would like to see it relocated because we're inevitably going to start running out of Schwarzkopfs in the near future and in my opinion this was one of the best :)
I'm not completely useless, I can be used as a bad example :P

It has been rewired and it's ready for buyers to view in action.

Hi Combichrist, the ride's rcdb page, including a few photographs (minus the mountain facade), can be found here. The ride still operates under the name Morgawr at Cornwall's Creally Adventure Park. Hope that helps! :)

The ride in its current incarnation:

Cheers Sam,

Yeah already checked out the track on rcd and re- theme in Cornwall on YouTube.

Am interested in the beasts theming both inside and out but appears to be no pics whatsoever on this ride(venom excluded),

Only for nostalgic reasons anyway pal,
Once upon a time camelot was a very, very well THEMED theme park!, at least within this child's eyes anyway.
Shame what happened to it over the years.

Thanks any ways guys,
Trying to find pics on this ride is pretty impossible ha,
Guess no-one had cameras in the 80's!
Tbh it'd probably suck and destroy my childhood vague memories if I looked at pics of the theming/que and ride anyway  :)

For those who have not yet seen there's been a photo update of Camelot theme park which was uploaded yesterday.

Looks like Knightmare is still standing. at this rate the only place this coaster will be going is the scrap yard

Sorry if this is in the wrong place and I could potentially be wrong however I found something that could suggest Knightmare from Camelot Theme Park has been or may possibly be sold. Ive seen this coaster listed for sale on the internet many times eg http://www.iepark.com/wp-content/upload ... -Rides.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (I know its an old post but just an example).

I was reading an article about an interview with the Southport Pleasureland owner who said he wanted to bring a new coaster to the park. There was a picture of a model which looked familiar to me. I thought it looked like Knightmare only painted red and white, and when I looked up some pictures of Knightmare to confirm, they did look the same layout. Just thought that it may be possible that the coaster has finally been sold on, after being SBNO on site at the former theme park for many years.

I hope it has as after going on it, I think it makes a good family ride, and it would be cool for it to be reunited with some of the old Camelot rides, I do intend to visit the park to ride some of these again.

Heres the link to the article:
