They wouldn't do all this for an extension.

It's got to be something huge.

The letter says $12million. Not much.

Two Intamins with Top Hats the pics point to SR with massive white cross layout looks similar to SR but just more of it. It's never been done really aart from Phantoms revenge but that was just ruining a ride really.

I would expect the cost being more than $12.1 million for something "huge" though?

Hmm, good point.

Will be a bit of a let down if it's just an extension though...

The picture isn't Storm Runner. That's the water slides that are also in one of the other images from the animated gif. You can see the ride is removed in one of the other photos. So, it's not going anywhere near Storm Runner.

So is this going to be Intamin's version of Zierer's launch tower coaster then?..... :?

It could just be a vertical chain lift. I'm not saying it's impossible, but it is highly unlikely they would put in two Intamin launch coasters. Then again, Cedar Point just put in three back to back Intamin launch coasters. :)

hm... somehow strange Hershey gets another vertical up and down and launch with loops when they have already "Stormrunner"... :?

And we all know since Thorpe that 10 inversions do not necessarily mean big fun. Yet it will do the (PR) job.

I disagree, Colossus is an amazing coaster and one of the best i've ridden! 2nd best in the UK IMO! :D

Well everyone's opinion differs, Dan.. I hate the thing! I've been on it once, and that was enough to put me off for life. Painful and pointless are the first two words to enter my mind I'm afraid :( didn't enjoy it at all.

I don't blame Hershey for doing anything for media attention - look what Alton have done this season! From free entry with a gnome to cloud seeding (which may actually come into fruition..) the park have nigh on constantly been in the spotlight.

I'm quite looking forward to seeing what this mystery holds :D.

Looks fantastic, some really interesting elements in there! I think id prefer it to Rita to be honest!

AstroDan

Well yes, but come on - Rita is hardly a rocket science layout is it, I think most modern Intamin's have a preferable layout to Rita.

Looks like a good coaster
would love to ride it.
Williscroft

Looks good but am I the only one that is feeling a little disappointed. I was expecting something amazing from the hype yet I personally would rather have a go on Maverick.

Still a decent looking coaster, just I’ve seen better.
