I have recently discovered some videos on YouTube of Alton Towers in 1994, 1998, 2001, 2003 and 2005. The 1994 video shows a thunder-storm. The 1998 video shows the newly opened X-Sector and Oblivion. The 2001 video show Nemesis, Corkscrew and Air (in construction). The 2003 video showcases the newly opened Air. The 2005 video shows footage of the old "Adrenaline Week" event.
Here they are!
'94 storm: " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
'98 image bank: " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
2001 Construction, Nemmy and Corky: " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
2003 Air news feature: " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
2005 "Adrenaline week": " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Enjoy!

See this is how rides should be ridden at Scarefest, check out 2:20 into the adrenaline week video, you cannot even see the train or pinnacle of Oblivion. Yea ok health & saftey comes into play I mean people need to see where they are walking but minimal lightning would be ideal.

Good find. Oblivion did look very good back when it opened and everything worked.

I miss adrenaline weeks, they were epic.
X-Sector looked amazing back then, shame it looks no where near as good now!
