Hi guys,
3 updates on the website!!
January 29th, 30th, 31st.
One is showing you exactly which track piece is which.
One is showing the size of a completed support.
And the final one is saying that on February 12th they are hosting guided tours of the construction site! Seems interesting

This ride looks absolutely beastly! Seven inversions, two launches and it is 4500 feet long and lasts for 2 minutes! This ride looks to be the definition of a modern day coaster. I can't wait to see it in operation when it opens. I think this is the type of coaster AT should be aiming for next, nothing too gimmicky, just a really solid coaster with speed, airtime and a good layout

Here's a new update! The inverted top hat has been erected and complete. To mark the milestone they created a video and hung a large sign from the inversion. All can be found at the link below

Small update with a video of Justin Garvanovic, founder of the European Coaster Club, going to see Helix during construction. A brilliant little video with a quite surprising story.

Here is a brilliant update. But this time not of the coaster, but the plans for the original coaster before Helix came along!!
It says that it would have been unsuitable for the mountain along with some other reasons I can't understand, but it looked like a brilliant ride as well!

Now I just wished Alton had spent a bit more time choosing an atmospheric decent piece of music for The Smiler. This ride seems to have the whole package.
