Guess I ought to post in here, at least to introduce myself (can't see an introduction sub-forum, but this thread seems appropriate enough (sorry if I missed somewhere else more appropriate)). I've browsed these forums on many occasions, usually leading up to my annual Alton Towers trip when I travel up from Kent for Download Festival. I've been to Thorpe Park's Fright Nights the past few years, always wanted to try Scarefest. This year I looked at the short breaks on AT's website, and pretty much on impulse booked to go on the 25th and 26th with my partner, staying not too far.

Looking into Scarefest a little more, I discovered ScareMazing. I was pretty damn excited when I saw it was happening the same weekend that I had booked to go. So for the past week, I've been watching the Facebook event page, waiting for further details. And now, here I am (finally registering an account here too, so I'll no longer just be a lurker), tickets reserved and paid for! I'll try to be active on the forums here leading up to the event, so hopefully I'll feel like I know some of you (and vice versa) at least a little before we meet on the day (hopefully the near 4 hour drive to get there for 8am won't leave me looking too much like one of the park's actors...although I usually end up dressing up anyway).

I look forward to meeting you all there on the 25th!

Thanks a lot Adz! One question I forgot to ask - do we need to purchase the separate Scaremaze ticket through AT's site to be able to participate in the Extreme mazes? If not, then fantastic value for Scaremazing, with everything included for only a few quid more!

Wow, looks amazing. But I have 2 questions. Will I be able to do non-extreme mazes? Or is that not an option? Also, what time will the day at AT end?

I hope to attend this event! Summer Sizzler was fantastic, especially the extreme Sub-Terra so fingers crossed I'll be able to attend! If I do attend then this will be my 2nd TT event. :)

Yes you will be able to do non exteme mazes. Last year a small group did the the non exteme mazes so you won't be on your own.

Unfortunately parking is not included in the ticket so yes you will need to pay for it. Mazes however are included :)

In order to retain the £15 event ticket price, Magic Money is not part of the ScareMazing North event package.

I don't think I will be coming to this event anymore (I kinda promised that I would after Summer Sizzler was over. Summer Sizzler was fantastic!) but hopefully I'll be able to do another event next year! But next year is too far away... :(
