Today Screamscape have found and revealed plans for what they believe is Carowinds next coaster coming next year. Removal of current attractions is taking place and it's expected that coaster work will begin in autumn. Personally I think ,along with others, that this will be a B&M hyper as SS has pointed out. The pictures look quite interesting and this is where you can speculate and share any other news you may find in this.

It says in the article that it will be little over 300ft, most likely 325ft. It's layout has many similarity a to Leviathan at Canada's Wonderland, and if it's manufactured by B&M it's called a Hypercoaster. On their website that's what they all come under. They don't class them as Giga's.Alex wrote:Won't it be a Giga? Considering the name is supposed Fury 325 and that implies it will be over 300 ft.

At the risk of being completely stupid, isn't that a wooden coaster? I assume it's being knocked down for the new ride...
I expect an ancient theme, possibly Roman related.
Or perhaps another Goliath... :lol

Still, if it is B&M I will be interested. Even though Carowinds is 3000+ miles away... :W

Here is a video of a coaster made in no limits 2 that's almost identical to the plans released. It looks a fun layout with many sections almost inverting, and an underground tunnel!
Although this won't be 100% accurate it seems to give the facts:
96mph top speed
85° drop
Sounds exciting

I bet Centurian is the more likely name. The whole ancient theme is related to that name because Centurians were Roman troops.

Oh. It's such a shame coasters get cloned, it really ruins the originality of them...

it isn't going to be a clone, it's a longer, more interesting layout that is similar to LeviathanNemesisRider wrote:Oh. It's such a shame coasters get cloned, it really ruins the originality of them...
A NL2 recreation of the plans, I know this may not be the actual layout, but either way, this is going to be fun to watch grow
