Alton Towers Resort has today been given approval for a brand new spa extension to the east of the current hotel. The plans will include a new dedicated entrance with 'feature door' and a spa garden with hydro pool and fire pit. The plans certainly seem to suggest the resort are focused on not just adding new accommodation, but also starting to improve what is already there to help draw more people in. I can't wait to see what it looks like.
