Yer i think Falcon, ideas are great and i would love it to happen and i think we will slowly see thing like that apearing at AT in the future.I think if people just wont to go to walk around and use the shops ect it should be about £10-£15 that way people would not take advantage of it to much.Falcon, you have gotten me all exsited now just thinking of what Alton Towers might become

Anyway, the way the non-rider ticket would be enforced is that there would be turnstile at the enterance to each ride which would scan the ticket. This system would also allow AT to monitor the queue's right down to a single person.
or they could use coloured wristbands, or have flourescent stamps on their hands, just pop it under the uv light before getting on the ride.
Althought i suppose bands could be 'lost' or the uv could 'wash' off. Although disney use a similar scheme for re-entering the park and it works quite well.
I think it will be a casino themed hotel next if the gambling laws are passed. Then they could have a new area around the back with a cinema, bowling and shops - i think it could happen quickley and make so much more of alton. Cant believe it could be at a disney standard within a few years!
I liked the idea of hotels /shops/cafes etc being themed 2 certain areas of the park if there was to b more than 2 hotels.I liked the idea of casinos and nightlife in the park jus lke universal resort!
i think they should make cred st into jazzland with a hotel in with it mabey call it jazz camp, the hotel themed round music like 60's, 70's, 80's. they could make the restaunt into a diner type thing with rollerbladin waiters/waitresses. they could also make it into a kinda plaza with arcades, bowling, cinema, disco entertainment.
Providing the relevent laws get passed, Alton Towers will be taking a SLOT of investment in the non-park attractions. Guests may also enjoy the waterpark more in 2006.
