The latest episode of Building Wildfire offers something a bit different to the usual construction updates, that being some footage of the view from the top of the lift hill. It certainly does look like it will be magnificent!

Wildfire's website has been updated, featuring its commercial and impressive on and off-ride render. It has now also been confirmed that it will open in June 2016.

Also Episode 13 of Building Wildfire has been released, focusing on the creation of its logo.

Episode 17 of Building Wildfire documents Parks and Resorts' trip to Busch Gardens Tampa in order to gain inspiration for future attractions, a trip similar to what they undertook when developing Wildfire.

Construction is progressing well according to the latest episode of Building Wildfire. Track is reportedly due to arrive in the next 20-25 days, allowing the lift hill and first drop to be completed, with the lift hill support towers planned to start going up in the next week or so. Work has also begun on the station building, with its foundations and some of the framework now in place.

The episode of Building Wildfire uploaded today focuses on the 'ledgers' - the metal beams which the track is mounted to - ahead of the arrival of track in the next couples of weeks.

Kolmarden have now taken delivery of Wildfire's lift motor, which is a part produced by Vekoma.

A couple of days ago Vekoma posted the following photo to their Facebook stating that track has begun to arrive on site.

Yesterday's Building Wildfire episode focused on the track, with a member of the track crew explaining the process of installing it. It would seem that track will start going up within a week or so.
