This article has appeared, with its translation below.
It's currently thought that this doesn't mean Wildfire won't be built, but of course it may delay its opening beyond 2016. From what I've read elsewhere, the suspension seems to have come about as a result of several appeals received from nearby locals, which the planning board are unable to ignore. It looks as though they will need to resubmit a more detailed application, specifically in relation to the noise levels, the affect on traffic levels, as well as the ride's implications on the surrounding area.

Kolmarden Zoo may not permit to build a roller coaster. Östergötland County Administrative Board cancels the Municipality of Norrköping decision on building permits, which were taken last fall. County Board rejects the zoo's application for planning permission on the grounds that it requires a detailed plan before the question can be reviewed.
Norrköping Municipality granted Kolmårdens Zoo AB planning permission for a roller coaster October 8, 2014. The decision has been appealed by several parties, associations and individuals.
According to the master plan is the relevant part of the area designated as a zoo. The area lacks detailed plan. Roller coaster is supposed to be placed directly adjacent to the existing zoo. The plant will be located near nature reserve and area of national interest for nature conservation and outdoor recreation.
The County Board believes that the roller coaster will have a major impact on the environment. It will, among other things, to change the landscape, cause increased noise levels and affect the traffic situation. Therefore, a detailed plan in place before the roller coaster can be checked by a planning application, consider the County Administrative Board.
The decision can be appealed to the Land and Environment Court.

Yesterday Kolmarden posted the following on the Wildfire Blog:
It would suggest that they're still aiming to open it at some point next year if they can get the go ahead.
The process of our awaited construction of Wildfire and planned launch in 2016 has now been intensified. We hope for a positive decision from the authorities in the next months. We’ll keep you posted, hold on!

The likes of ThemeParkReview and CoasterForce have reported that Wildfire has now been given the go ahead, which this article clarifies. It also highlights that on the original schedule, the ride would have been finished this Autumn, but obviously with the construction's delayed start this has been pushed back to Spring 2016. It should also be noted that the article states that this decision can be appealed for the next three weeks, but hopefully Kolmarden have alleviated any worries from those who appealed previously.

Kolmarden know what they are doing with this, they are doing the marketing perfectly for the worldwide market and I don't doubt for a moment that this is the most anticipated coaster of 2016. I don't think it is possible for me to want to ride this thing more than I do now, these guys are building something very special.

RMC uploaded a few photos of Wildfire's construction to their Facebook yesterday.
Episode 3 of the web series has also been uploaded, with it being a newly rendered on-ride POV of Wildfire, which just makes it look even more awesome.

I think this will be insanely awesome. The first drop and twists look very forceful
Erm, change of plan, I prefer The Smiler. Rita's rubbish. Should have thought of that...
Scarefest 2016 hype is all gone... all because of Stan.H.
