Had a brilliant day today, I'm not sure how many of you actually noticed me, but I was there none the less ;)

The ERT on Nemesis was brilliant, I think I got 5 rides in that half an hour, which was cool!

I didn't many TTF members for the rest of the day, said hi to a couple of you, but couldn't get myself to introduce myself :( (I will try to next time, I promise :P)

after enjoying the rides, me and me dad met up with the group for the JW Q&A, this was (as was all of the day) fantastic.

Sorry I didn't write much or in much detail, but I have literally just got back and decided to write this, so forgive any mistakes, bad grammar, etc :P

I just want to say a massive 'Thank You' to the TT team for organising today! Although we didn't arrive until 10am & missed ERT, it was still a fantastic day (Nemesis twice, Rita twice, Thirteen, Smiler & Sonic...gotta love Fastrack lol!) After bumping into you all on Rita & then not meeting up again until the John Wardley Q&A, I must say, from what I saw, you excelled at arranging a fantastic day (the nemesis birthday cake looked great!). As for meeting John Wardley....I can tick that off my bucket list! Once again, excellent organisation & super team work. I'll definately be attending another TT meet in the future, so once again, thank you for such a great experience, (Sir) John Wardley is a legend!

First of all I would like to thank all of the team for the greeting upon arrival, although someone had turned the sign the wrong way round to get to the conference centre! Upon arrival we were greeted by a breakfast of sweets and biscuits, along with drinks of orange, blackcurrant and all of the standard coffees, teas, and all that. Once the photos were done and dusted, we went straight to Nemesis for our ERT, which we got 6 goes on Nemesis in 30 minutes! We then split up from the group for the most part of the day, but we saw them at lunch in the Tavern to watch the Victoria Sponge show. We then flew on some more rides after lunch, an met up at 5, waiting for the Q&A to start with my idol, JOHN WARDLEY :D !!! Once it started, the Q&A was organised perfectly, and I got my question answered! We then had our photos taken and books signed, before departing for the evening. :(

The only improvement to be made could maybe have setting the Q&A in the hotel Conference Rooms, as most of us were parked by the hotel, which would have saved our legs a little! Other than that, the event was perfectly organised and was one of the best days I have ever spent on park! :D

Thank you to everyone who came to the event, and especially the team who made the event run very smoothly and enjoyable for everyone! I would also like to thank John as he answered all of our questions and gave us a good time! :D
Happy 20th Birthday to Nemmy and 1st Birthday to The Smiler!

Thanks to all involved in the event I was made to feel very welcome so much so I even went to the hotel for a drink after(even though that kind of thing is way out my comfort zone due to my hearing ... or lack off ) where much fun was had and made.
Only down point as has alredy been metioned was the venue for the q&a the long dark walk back to the hotel and the fact that the make shift bar couldnt do discount for map.... somthing outside of the tt teams control

All in all in the words of bill and ted Excellent

Thank you so much everyone who worked so hard to make yesterday such an amazing day. This was our first event and we couldn't beleieve the attention to detail and all the hard work the team put in. The welcome refreshments were brilliant. Pick n mix sweets and coffee, the perfect start to the day!!! EERT was fantastic although my stomach could only handle Nemesis twice on the trot, and the rest of the day was just as good. I don't think there's anything you could have done to make the day better (except free front of line tickets for Smiler maybe!). The Q and A session was brilliant and having a Nemesis birthday cake was another lovely surprise. I know the long treck back in the dark was "interesting", we got a bit lost and had to climb through some bushes and over a fence, but this gave us the chance to talk to some others who were also lost! Altogether an amazing day and a very big thank you. Can't wait until the next one!

After the 2 other brilliant events I've attended, there was high hopes for this one, and it certainly didn't disappoint!
With larger numbers for this event I was expecting some organisational problems, but this was far from reality. The event ran extremely smoothly with all team members being high in spirits, friendly and knowing what was going on (well, for the most part :D) It was great meeting even more forum members and seeing new people at the events that hadn't been there before. The day was an amazing day full of laughs right from the start. Nemesis in the morning was brilliant, as well as walking around with some forum members for the majority of the day, also, the 'magic money' was a great idea and meant I could pig out on donuts all day long!
Obviously a large highlight of the day was John wardley's talk- accompanied by some delicious cake and coffee too! This event is something I won't forget in a long time and lived up to the other fantastic events I've attended with the forum. Once again, thank you to all the forum team for making everything run so smoothly and being so friendly throughout, and thanks to the members too for making the day pretty brilliant.

If you haven't got the chance to make an event yet- make the next one, because you won't regret it!

I believe I have an apology to make ...

My voiced opinions on the Nemesis@20 event were very harsh and unnecessary, especially as I had never had a day on park when a TT event was going on previously. I didn't notice anyone I recognised from the forum, and I didn't see any TT jackets either, so that just shows that it barely affected my day. I did at certain points notice queues going up suddenly (eg. 13 went from 30 to 50 minutes queue quite quickly, not sure if that was due to you guys going in or not), but overall my day was fantastic and probably the best day I've had at the park (although don't get too excited at that, it was only my 3rd ever visit).

Once again I apologise,
ILC

Had the "BEST DAY EVER". From start to finish, we were looked after by the team, so a massive thank you for that.
Start of the day with the woodland walk, then to Nemesis, we managed to get 6 rides in a row, then to smiler and oblivion, then onto Rita. A group photo and we broke off from the group and met again at lunch. A few take overs on the kiddie rides, which was good fun :)
Back over to x-sector, to end the day.
The Q&A with our god John was the best. Such a humble down to earth man.
Again Thanks to the Team for a wonderful day, that will never be forgotten.
For my first meet, I was made welcome and met some lovely people.
Will definitely be at future events, and hopefully meet more of you beautiful people. ;)

Once again another fantastic meet. I'd just like to say mostly the same as everyone else and thank the TT Team and members for making the event such a fun day out and how extremely impressed I was with the whole day running smoothly. Managed to squeeze 4 rides on nemesis in the morning, who will always be the king, then got on loads of rides in the day. Also another big thanks to the legend John Wardley and the Q&A he gave for us, can't wait to see it up on youtube to watch it all over again!

Made plenty of memories and had loads of laughs, can't wait for the next meet now!

Ps: who ever made that cake, why aren't you on master chef

Just want to say that I had a really awesome day on Saturday and I want to thank all the TT organisers for doing such a brilliant job. The day was a complete success, and especially got going from the moment we entered the park from the woodland walk. I'd never been down that walk before so it was interesting to see it for the first time. After 4 goes on Nemesis on our Exclusive ERT, we set off for a go on the blade, as the first two people on it for the main 2014 season! Then after 3 continuous loops of the Runaway mine train with an especially cheery ride op, we had two goes on Blivvy and started queuing up for the smiler. After a longish wait and seeing some Admin members stuck on The Smiler, we carried on our day... We ended up having another 2 rides on enterprise, 2 more on The Blade, 1x Ripsaw, 1x Rita, 1x Air, 1x Hex, 1x sonic spinball, and probably the highlight of our day, 2 times on the Twirling toadstools!! At the end of the day we went up to the place at the end of towers street (where the electronic queue board USED to be... :D ) and went up for the John Wardley Q&A. It was a really good talk with some interesting answers, and I learnt a lot, as well as getting to meet my idol! After this had finished, we left, full of very nice Nemesis Cake, to a (let's say interesting...) walk back to the hotel in the dark, where we somehow stumbled into the staff area of the park behind the hotels after trying about 3 doors beforehand... :D . Once again I would like to thank everyone involved with the organisation and running of the day, and (Sir) Wardley for a truly fascinating Q&A. I'm also very excited about the groundbreaking info that John gave us about the next developments for alton towers... ;)
Thanks again
P.S this was the first meet I'd been on so I think I started with a bang!

ONCE AGAIN I had one of the best weekends ever!
So glad I managed to get know everyone better. Had brilliant fun and many laughs were had.
Loved the early ride time and John (as I presumed) was fantastic! Made any answer very interesting.
The social.... What. A. Great night! Everyone even though it had been a long day (and even longer for some) Was in high spirits and was one of the best nights I've had in a long time!
Thank you to the entire team and everyone I had a wee chat with.
You all make my favorite place to visit, a great deal better :D

Well I have to say what an awesome weekend this was!

I was fairly nervous about meeting everyone but those nerves soon disappeared, all of the team and everyone who attended were absolutely fantastic and made sure everybody was made to feel welcome.

The exclusivity on Nemesis was brilliant (some of us even sang Happy Birthday at one point!) and the whole trip has to rank up there with my best ever trips to Towers. The icing on the cake has to be the Q&A from John Wardley, the man is a god and the fact that he stayed around afterwards to do photo's and autographs just proves how much of a nice guy he is.

The day was capped off by the TT Social, many drinks and lots of laughs were had, which led to a good number of sore heads the following morning, but a few of us managed to last a 2nd day on park, which provided lots of laughs and has given me many great memories :)

All in all it was a fantastic weekend, and i'd just like to say thank you to the entire TowersTimes team for all the hard work which went into putting this event on, without which none of this would happen. You are a wonderful group of people and I am already looking forward to the next event!

On my ScareMazing review I wrote something like"These events are going to get bigger, better and more popular".
Was i right? Indeed I was :)
Nemesis@20 has been the biggest and best TT event so far.
And I am so glad I was a part of it.
TT Team you are all amazing! A big massive Thank You and pat on the back comes from me and John to all of you.
The time and effort that each of you, must have put in to make this event the success it was is commendable.
Not only for all you do on the actual day,but the build up to it as well. From keeping us all guessing, with the countdown teasers, right up to the N@20 announcement. You are all a credit to the site.
Now for the actual day itself.
Started in the Splash Hotel conference room, with many greetings of friends old and now some more new ones too.
Early morning drinks were plenty, and bowls of sweets too. Coffee and a sugar rush before park opens, what more could you want.. :lol
Introductions were given by each member of the team, all of which gave us all an interesting fact about themselves. Everyone was also given a new coloured TT badge. The colour of the representing the team member you would ring in the event of issues or emergencies or just to meet up again later on. Good idea TT.
The Woodland Walk then gave everyone the opportunity to catch up with people met before or chat to some of the newbies and help them feel more comfortable.
The extra early ride time on Nemesis was brilliant. Opened early especially for TT,everyone took their chance to ride as many times as possible. I'm sure most had at least 4 rides.
The rest of the day on park was fantastic as usual, many TT ride take overs and lots of fun had by everyone.
Having endured the cold and the odd heavy shower,we made our way to the meeting point for the John Wardley Q and A session.
In the Towers Suite, there was a big screen showing forum members pictures of Nemesis,as the forum topic had requested. I noticed a couple of mine on there,so thanks TT.
There was also a free TT car sticker on everyone's chair to take home as a momentous of the day. There were also N@20 key rings available for £2 if you wanted one(see pic below)
John was introduced to the group, but before the Q and A he was presented with,a crystal decanter and goblet on behalf of the TT team. Nice touch TT,John seemed genuinely moved by your gift.
The Q and A commenced to a rapturous applause and was extremely informative and interesting. Thanks John.
The video will make very good viewing, for those who did not attend the meet and the fans who just want to relive the moment over again.
John giving his time at the end for photos and book signings was a very nice gesture on his behalf.
The Nemesis birthday cake looked amazing and tasted great too.. :lol
Socialising with both team and forum members in the Splash Bar at the end of the day was brilliant. I staggered back to the room at 02:45 I believe. Taking with me some fantastic memories of a brilliant day.
Me and John can't say THANK YOU enough to everyone we met, spent time with and made friends with. You are all great to be with.
Last but not least a massive Thanks goes to AltonTowers. We all love the place and without your cooperation none of the above would be possible

I'd just like to echo what others have said and say what an amazing and fantastical day I had on Saturday. Thank you to everyone who attended and made this event so successful, it was great to see and meet new faces as well as people I already knew which is one of the best things about TowersTimes.

The ERT on Nemesis was our first stop and I managed 4 rides including a front row - what a fab start to the day. Afterwards, many rides followed including some brilliant takeovers such as the Gallopers which was fab as ever.

The Q&A with John Wardley was really interesting and a fascinating insight into all the wonderful rides and attractions he's been a part of over the years and I'm very grateful for his time with us to sign our books and have photos as well as answering our questions.

All in all, I loved every minute and roll on the next meet :D

I am new to the forums but I came to the meet with my husband. James and his brother went to the scaremazing which I missed cause it was the day of my hen which was also at towers the same day.

I loved that everyone was so welcoming and was always happy to get you involved. We got talking to some great people I look forward to taking to again.
The whole day from start to finish was fantastic and I look forward to many more meets. Bring on Thorpe Park!

A special shout out to Michelle for looking out for us. To Lee I told you I wasn't a member when we spoke clearly I am now ;-) and I hope Katie you and your knee is better :-).

Here's to us all hopefully meeting again.
Great job guys and dolls!
