Water effects would be good but I expect we will just see floor and maybe some statues of fish/characters

It has been confirmed by Alton Towers on Facebook that there shall be no rule regarding adults riding without children.
Octonauts Rollercoaster Adventure is open to all above the height of 0.9m!

:D I can just imagine seeing a really large guy in the middle of the train taking up the entire car while everyone else is parents with small kids.

Good for you Alton!

To be fair, the roller coaster looks perfect for kids. And the train looks great too. But do we finally have confirmation who built the thing? Is it Zamperla?

Just been on the new ride. Great for the little ones. You even get squirted by a whale.

Bit of a technical problem when the lap harness wouldn't release but soon got fixed.

Must say, for a small coaster, the theming is great

It just got stuck again. Seems there's an issue releasing the harnesses. Same thing happened yesterday. 10 min delay but running again now.

Anyone else think they should theme Sonic Spinball into cbeebies land? I think it would work perfect as a my first "BIG" roller coaster. If it does go I will be upset because I really do like the ride and I am sure plenty of other people do as well

This ride seems to be that good it's competing with the big six for queue times... 90 mins!!! smiler only 70 mins!!! I'd hate to queue 90 mins in a queue full of 3 year olds.

When I went at the weekend it was doing 3 laps, despite the 55 minute queue (it's basically a kids version of The Smiler!!)

I love the ride but I don't think they should. I think it could put the older people off the ride.
