Enterprise - is time up?

TowersStreet are reporting that Enterprise has been suffering some downtime over the past week or so. The ride has been in the park for nearly 30 years now and despite apparent refurbishment this closed season is it starting to show its age and reach its last legs?

If Enterprise were to go would you like to see it replaced with another enterprise in a similar manner to Zodiac at Thorpe Park or would we like to see another flat entirely put into its spot?

well they have replaced about half the ride so they may aswell replace the parts they didn't replace last close season this closed season and it will be like a new ride.

Remove submission

Not Enterprise

Enterprise = Still Thrilling and still a lot of fun Even If its having problems

Submission = Painful and not that fun. This ride will cause problems. I been on it and now I can't have children XD

I have never been on Submission, but do love a Spin on Enterprise. I am guessing if a major part has gone they are just waiting for it to arrive from Huss.

The problem with Enterprise and all other rides like Enterprise, is Enterprises are manufactured by HUSS, Schwarzkopf, and Heinz Fähtz who have now discontinued creating the ride. You can find out about it yourself on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enterprise_%28ride%29

So in the event of a break down or if parts break it is near on impossible to find replacement parts.

I think they should replace it with a breakdancer. I think the hole is wide enough so all they would have to do is install it and theme it to suit X sector.

I agree! Plus half of submission doesn't even work anymore, or rarley(seen some rare footage on youtube of the back carriage working). I would think though that if they were to remove Enterprise they would replace it with something to do with The Smiler.

It's not even a good ride even when it is working!
Just makes you feel sick and dizzy.
As others have said, being back Energizer!

I think if it got so bad or costing to much to repair they would replace it with the 1 at Thorpe Park as that model was new in 2003 when Drayton Manor brought it.

But Zodiac is very popular at Thorpe due to it's low height restriction

saw this and thought could be a good option to revamp enterprise and help it fit in with Smiler ;)
