Well the bottom of the lift hill isn't in the photo...

Also, here's some more photos from CoasterFriends!

To me this does seem like it will be the best wingrider in the world, purely for the intense layout, just doesn't seem B&M-ish but it does...even I don't understand myself anymore

So basically there's about 5-10 pieces of track left to place and then track complete?

I have a feeling that Alton have waited with the wingrider until B&M have mastered the tech, I think we will see one soon at Alton, within the next 5-10 years.

Alton won't get one. Thorpe have one down the road, there really is no need.

<3 that bridge. I hope we'll be able to walk on that. It'd make for some amazing photography!

That didn't stop Merlin having 2 B&M Inverts, 2 Gerst Eurofighters, 2 Intamin Launch and 2 Maurer Spinners. They already have 3 B&M Wingriders. I think Alton getting one is inevitable but thats just my opinion :)

Courtesy of CoasterFriends, here are some more photos. The first, wing over drop inversion has been completed, and also construction on the ride's shop has begun.

After the whole fiasco involving the Smiler, it's good to see this ride go up really quickly.  I heard from one of my German friends that they can get some really rough winters there, and that's not good for construction.

The lift may look smaller as it follows the incline of the hill up.

Definitely the most promising layout yet - some crazy curves and inversions in there.

Am I the only one who feels slightly sad when looking at these new Winged layouts?

I mean Swarm's an amazing coaster, don't get me wrong, but it makes me a little sad looking at all the new layouts and what more could potentially of been made of LC12! :(

Would additionally like to know if possible, what is this coasters footprint? Is it larger or smaller than Swarm's footprint, just to give a sense of what can be done with the space available!.. :)

Just a little update on yesterday's construction; Another piece of track from the entrance of the corkscrew was added, as well as a support for the immelmann.

There is a also a video (of pictures) taken yesterday here.
