Would we be able to have the music played in the different parks played on the forums dedicated to that park, or is it too much work/illegal?

We've always found background audio on webpages to be annoying to the majority of web users, plus there is no real elegant way of doing it on a forum. Sorry, it's unlikely to be something we would ever consider adding.TheBeast wrote:Would we be able to have the music played in the different parks played on the forums dedicated to that park, or is it too much work/illegal?

There's been plenty of work going on behind the scenes on the new V3 ride pages and there's still a bit more to be done before we can add the updated pages to the site, but to give an idea as to what to expect here's the Octonauts Rollercoaster Adventure page!

will the forum section have any changes for V3? Or did you just not show that for suspense?

The hotel and adjoining pages are the latest site content to be V3ed, as it were. They offer a comprehensive guide to the resort's hotels, including information on all of the rooms available, as well as their food, drink and other facilities, not to mention links to pages which are relevant to the hotels' histories.
You'll find the Alton Towers Hotel page here and the Splash Landings Hotel page here.

Loving those new pages, very convenient, will there eventually be a new page with information about the Enchanted Village? V3's looking better all the time, great job guys!

We do currently have several pages with information on the Enchanted Village, which will be reformatted to match the hotel pages during closed season

It's never too soon to start panicking...
With ScareMazing fast approaching we've launched our teaser site over on http://www.ScareMazing.co.uk featuring some hints and teasers of the events to come. Over the next few weeks we'll be building on this and adding more information as we get ready for the event launch.
There's a few hints hidden away for now but keep checking back as we've got a lot more to be revealed.
What's your breaking point?

Given that it's been over a year since the last post here I may not be able to successfully recall all the pages that have since been updated. However, the most notable pages have been those for the resort's 'Other Attractions', a Future Developments section and most recently a large amount of work has gone into some of the History sections including the Construction Archive, The Drawing Board and Events Archive. We've also updated all the area pages and have begun integrating the new ride pages into the site as they have been completed.
If you notice any issues with the above pages/sections do let us know and we can hopefully amend them accordingly.
Although we have made significant progress, there is probably still 100+ pages left to go with the majority of those made up by our archived Past Rides & Attractions content.

After several months work, all our Past Rides & Attractions pages have been transferred over to the 'new' website. That's over 100 pages of nostalgic Towers goodness for your viewing pleasure!
Hopefully you'll find the format we've indexed them in to be user-friendly, with them sorted into attractions, entertainment and areas, and the ability to search and reorder the lists to find a particular page - they're in order of 'closing year' by default.

Yes, I've been waiting for this! Great work.

As some of you may know we are currently in the process of migrating TTSP to a new server, this work is almost complete. However, there is still a bit to do, and this is planned to be undertaken throughout Saturday night and into Sunday morning, during this time both the website and forum will be unavailable.
Apologies for any inconvenience that this may cause.
