Doubt it'll be open today either - it's certainly proving to be a rather windy season so far!

I don't live far from Alton Towers and it's definitely a lot windier today than it was yesterday so I'd say the Skyride is shut today as well.

I live 30 mins away from the resort and its been very windy lately so i imagine this is why they have been hitting the stations violently, but as for the reversing, never heard of that before, but a broken wheel could have sent it backwards i suppose. I'm not sure maybe someone could ask a tech? if one would be willing to tell us, but very odd. lets just hope its sorted in the mean time.
