Hello all, You may have noticed that "thomas100" is indeed a troll and has posted a topic stating that PPB is better then Alton. he also gave us false facts such as "PMBO is faster then Stealth" PMBO is the tallest, fastest and steepest in Europe". I (as well as .Will) corrected him. but he then started saying immature comments like "I get horny over air". but the biggest concern I have that this might be a PBE member trying to troll us and may even start a "war" between TTF and PBE.
what are your views on trolls on TTF?

Well first a well done to the team for dealing with the problem swiftly.
But well done to you SpinballEdders for putting the troll down.

Its a regular if slightly disappointing situation that members of different enthusiasts groups troll each other (certainly some TTF members have been guilty of doing the same thing on other fan-site boards). We as a team don't really understand the reason for all of this negativity even though it seems to be a minority of enthusiasts who take part and we certainly don't endorse it. However in future if you find any trolling on our forum please hit the "Flag Post" button so we can remove it. As always its best to just report then ignore, rather than getting into a war of words.
Thanks

At least you didn't get a death threat off a PBE member, like I did yesterday. :P

As far as the current PBE/TTF debate is going on I would advise it's best to keep it off the forums. The team do not endorse any kind of 'spamming' or 'trolling' at all. Simply if you have such issues with other sites, keep it off TTF, we have no involvement whatsoever with what is currently going on between a small group of members on here and other fan sites. This seems to be a rare occasion where small debates between groups of people is being opened up into sites accusing other sites and leading to trolling on both sides.
As far as I'm concerned, it's nothing to do with TTF, it's down to how certain individuals are acting - and if you wish to act in such a manner, keep it off here. We're a Towers fansite, not a army at war.
Any form of trolling that may be posted on the forums is dealt with as quickly as possible by the team. As always though we can't stress enough how important it is to flag/report posts. The team are immediately aware of reported posts the minute we log on. So instead of getting involved with such debates, leave it, ignore it, 'do not feed the trolls'. Report the post/topic and continue as you do on the forums. It makes the experience of TTF more enjoyable for yourself and others.

Some people need to grow some pubes.
Now please excuse me, I'm off to go fap over Swarm pictures while mocking both Blackpool AND Alton :hano:

I don't want to see forum or site dragged into childish arguments with other sites. Obviously we as a team can't stop individuals who may choose to do this, but it's not something we condone as a site and certainly nothing that I want to see turning up on the forum. Especially considering the vast vast majority of our members just want to turn up here, read discussion and participate.
To those members who choose to troll other sites in their own personal time, I would ask you to consider the repercussions it can have on this forum. We've already had one person come on here posting rubbish, which has obviously now been dealt with quickly, but please consider the problems it can cause for both members and the team in future.
To those who choose to come on here and cause trouble for TowersTimes - don't bother. Any offending posts and accounts (including any duplicate accounts used for 'normal' posting) will be dealt with quickly and the team and the forum's members won't allow it to spoil what is a superb place for discussion.
I can only re-iterate what Dave said about coming across posts on the forum. DO NOT REPLY TO THESE POSTS. Simply hit the flag post button and the team will deal with the offending posts and accounts as quickly as possible.
