The Smiler - Construction Discussion
Very exciting to see the 'Secret Weapon Inside' banner. If they're going to use it, I'm expecting they will use the black hole entrance as part of the entrance for SW7

I expect its just dumped there rather than being intended for usage at a later stage...
Because it doesn't necessarily give away that it's TH13TEEN, maybe just a very minor cost cut, almost pointless I guess.NickReid wrote: Why would they use a banner that uses th13teen's vines and track on for SW7?
Either that or the banner in the photo is a similar design but with the SW7 track, you can't tell from the picture

Maybe there gonna use it to cover a section of the track which is the worlds first part. Unless that part will be indoors.

No to be honest in the past week all it looks like they have done is they have moved stuff around.

I was down there this weekend
I saw, from Oblivion, that they have built an access ramp from the old Black Hole queue line, down into the bottom of the site, with an access point through the trees at the back of the site, again, behind the old queue line.
A million apologies but i couldn't get a good view of it to take a piccy. The only ones i could get were of the rest of the site, and not much has happened there.

i think it is new, and if my estimation is right, that clearing will lead onto a raised viewing area, located above the queuline just to the north of the first lift.
edit: just looked again and i was wrong, it's the perfect position for the new maintence acess road

sorry to double post, can't modify.
read into that what you will
just thought i would add as well, that teh ramp is right in the middle of the site, in roughly the same spot that the vertical lift should be going.Boz wrote: I saw, from Oblivion, that they have built an access ramp from the old Black Hole queue line, down into the bottom of the site, with an access point through the trees at the back of the site, again, behind the old queue line.

Getting up there for the 18th before my Florida theme park month, should get a good look from up Oblivion. Anyone else reckon we may see a nice revamp of X-Sector or are Merlin going to be themselves? The area is looking sad, in fact the whole park is awful compared to the likes of Busch Gardens Tampa or Disney.
THC selectively targets and destroys tumor cells while leaving healthy cells unscathed. Conventional chemotherapy drugs, by contrast, are highly toxic; they indiscriminately damage the brain and body.
Toke up...
